I love this purse. I have a size larger in black and this size in red. I just bought the grey and love the inside fabric is tan so I can see inside the purse. It’s comfortable to wear and I can slide money or my phone to the back side of the purse and no person can get in it while I am wearing it.
Soft leather and just the right size for every day life activities. Security with magnet clasp and leather loop on top of bag, makes me feel my belongings are safe.

This bag has literally saved my life. I slipped in the Muir woods and in Durango Colorado in the snow on black ice. Both times I landed flat on my back. I have been using this bag for more than 20 years. I have gone through a few and I can't say enough about the quality, the functionality and practicality of this bag. As the Mother of Adult Epileptic Autistic son this bag is a part of me. I can move freely, carry lots of things in it (mini books, emergency provisions, water bottles and more. The leather is the finest quality and wears like no other. I own designer bags (LV, Coach, Dooney) and I only use my SVEN bag. Even for business. It is bar none the only bag you need if you are a busy woman on the go.
I love my new, navy blue backpack purse! It’s my second Sven backpack purse and, as with the first one that I bought many, many years ago at a local art fair, I’m thrilled with it. The leather is good quality, there are enough pockets to organize things, and I love the easy access to the interior. It’s comfortable, attractive and very functional. It’s also very safe to wear because there is no access when it’s on your back. I used my first Sven backpack purse (in black leather) almost daily for more than 10 years, and I’m expecting the same kind of longevity in my new one. This purse has great styling and it's worth every penny!
There is no better back pack purse out there. The leather is thick quality durable leather. The bag is so comfortable to wear. Can not be accessed when on your body. Great for travel and hiking about. I buy the bigger one as being a Mom I can fit the families glasses or small purchases right in the bag. Don't be fooled be turned off by the price. It will out last the designer bags every time. I have those too for work and they do not hold up in comparison to a SVEN bag. The back pack is the best.
Finally broke down and bought a Sven backpack. My sister bought one years ago and I have admired it but didn't want to spend so much on a backpack. Boy was I wrong! I bought one slightly bigger than my sister's and I LOVE it! I bought it for hands-free travel but I can also use for work as it is gorgeous leather! I am only annoyed that I waited so long to make the purchase! Worth EVERY penny! I bought the chocolate color which is very rich looking and I know I will use for year! Thank you SVEN!
Leather is soft and high quality. The size is roomy but not heavy. I can see myself using it for years to come.
Well-made with high quality materials. No loose threads or stitches. The lining, metal fittings and zippers are substantial and should last a long time. The leather is soft and the interior is roomy. I'm looking forward to taking it with my on a two-week trip to Europe!
