I first purchase this bag in 1990 from a little shop at the Hotel Del Coronado. I wore it to bits. I have since purchased 5 I believe. I wear them till they are dingy and worn. Still good. This bag saved me when I landed flat on my back in the Muir Woods having slipped on moss on wood. This bag is in all the family vacation photos. I LOVE THIS BAG. I have Coach, Doonie and even a Louis from before I got married 1986 but NOTHING compares to this bag. I just bought another one just to have in reserve. I will keep buying these bags as they fit my active lifestyle. They are great for Mom's because there is room for everything. The quality is outstanding. The craftsmanship is pure quality. Thick leather and very durable lining.

That makes it so much easier when you're digging around in the bag looking for something. But, the biggest reason I love this bag is that it is so secure. Someone cannot get into this bag when you're wearing it on your back without you knowing. The 810B bag has traveled to Europe many takes and ridden the El in Chicago without incident.

I have been buying this bag for more then 20 years when I first discovered it a a boutique shop in the Hotel Del Coronado. I have been buying ever since. It is a work horse. I wear them into the ground. I have even had the lining re-done. That can only "sometimes" be done once. This bag saved my back when I landed on it in the Muir Woods. I love this bag for everyday with my son who has epilepsy I am ready do drop and go and not worry about my bag falling off me or out on the street. Very comfortable straps as well. I just love this bag.The quality of leather is top notch. It is better then a "designer plastic bag" I have those too......but this is the favorite and the most practical and comfortable.

This is the fifth of these purse/backpack bags that I have bought. Not because they wear out quickly but because I have carried only this one style bag for the last 15 years. I am a traveler and with the back zipper pocket, I am travel safe wherever I go. I never change purses....always just this one bag. Love the buttery leather and the design and most of all how pick pocket safe it is when worn on the back. Thank you SVEN!

This bag replaces its smaller "sister" that was almost the only bag I used for about 7 years! I love that I can fit more into this one - making it an attractive "backpack" when traveling, but it is flat and light if less than filled. The quality of SVEN is outstanding.

I currently own 3 Sven bags, and have owned two others that I've passed along to niece who love them. Sven bags are made of very high grade leather and are made to exacting standards. Absolutely the best bags I've ever owned and well worth the money.

Sven products are so nicely made and I especially love the backpack which can also be a bucket bag. I just purchased my third one! I inquired about the color and got a speedy and excellent reply. With the simple and sophisticated design, they can be used for years and never go out of style. It is big enough to hold a lot - - but can be sleek enough for an elegant evening.

We purchased this purse as a birthday present to replace my mother's 10+ year old worn version. Not because the 10 year old purse had fallen apart, but rather the leather had been rained on, beaten up by grandkids, and literally thrown in the back seat daily for the duration of it's ownership. It was starting to look it's age, so we suprised her with one anew. She was extremely pleased, and the new purse is gorgeous. We ordered the purse in "tobacco," trying to match her prior purse - when my mom likes something, there is no replacing it unless it is exact - but the representative that was to cut the leather for the purse felt it was not up to par, so she called to request and extension on the time frame so that the leather would be perfect. I explained our situation, and that it was time sensitive for my moms birthday, and she informed me that "tobacco" was a relatively new color, and that my mom's purse was likely cognac tan. She sent me color swatches to confirm AND her email address so that I could snap a picture and send it to her for alternative confirmation on the right color.
